CCIS Reception
CCIS Reception Volunteers greet international students weekday afternoons at the main entrance of the Bechtel International Center. CCIS Reception Volunteers assist internationals with learning about the various CCIS programs and classes; direct them to Resource Center; refer them to the Bechtel Center staff when necessary, and serve as a general ombudsman, to help them wend their way through the campus and life at Stanford.
Volunteers are asked to serve a minimum of one shift per month. Volunteers cover shifts from 2:00pm to 4:30pm every weekday afternoon during the Stanford academic year, except holiday breaks and the summer quarter.
