Loan Closet
Students and visiting scholars may borrow household goods during
their time at Stanford. Items include dishes, glasses, pots and
pans, irons, toasters, sheets, towels, blankets, and other small goods.
The cost is $10.00 for one person and $20.00 for a couple. Items that are still in good condition must be returned to the loan closet at the end of your stay. Donations from students and visiting scholars of other useful household goods are most welcome.
The Loan Closet is run by volunteers. During Orientation in mid-September you may sign up for an appointment at the I-Center. Throughout other times of the year, you may call the I-Center receptionist (650-723-1271) for an appointment. Call the same number for an appointment to return the borrowed items.
