The Professional Liaison Program is designed to answer questions you might have about your chosen (or prospective) profession. To help you decide whether PLP is right for you, we have incorporated some Case Studies, which will give you an idea of how the program has helped other applicants.
How to Apply
Applying for the Professional Liaison Program is easy. PLP applicants are accepted throughout the year. Applications for the Professional Liaison Program may be found at the front desk in the I-Center or on-line (see below.) Applicants must be proficient in English, be unable to work in the U.S. due to visa status, and have no existing local contacts in his/her professional field.
You may return a completed PLP application to the upstairs reception desk at the I-Center or submitted online to plp@ccisstanfordu.org If available, a resume should be attached for the purpose of acquainting the local professional contact with your career background.
Our community contacts are volunteers who donate time to share their professional experience with international visitors. Please allow us some time to arrange an introduction once your application is received. The PLP Coordinator will contact you to arrange a meeting first with you and then with the professional contact person.
